Everybody knows how important SEO is in marketing. There are so many things that go into making a site that outranks your competitors and so many SEO tools out there, such as Raven Tools and Surfer SEO. But, at the end of the day, we all know the most important single factor is your keywords.
If you’re checking for more than a handful of keywords, though, that can be quite tedious and take away from time spent elsewhere. AccuRanker is an automated ranking tool that tracks all your rankings. It not only saves you time but comes with a lot of other features you can use to refine your SEO strategy and improve your site approach.
In this review, we’ll explore everything you need to know about AccuRanker, including its main features, pricing, alternatives, and its pros and cons.
If SEO is important to you (which it should be), you definitely should invest in a keyword ranking tool. By the time you’re finished reading this, you’ll know whether AccuRanker is the right one for you.
What Is AccuRanker?
AccuRanker has been around for nearly a decade. Founded in 2013 in Europe, the company now has over 25,000 customers around the world.
The core function of the app is rank tracking to help you monitor the position of your website on Google and other search engines. You can tailor it by region, too, so whether you want to rank highly in Albania or Zimbabwe, AccuRanker has what you need to see how well you’re doing everywhere.
While numerous tools can perform rank checking, what sets AccuRanker apart is how frequently they update it and how accurate the reporting is. You’re not looking at out-of-date reports (as other keyword ranking tools do) when you search your keywords, but exactly what’s trending on Google.
Overall, the tool is easy to use, effective, and accurate, making it one of the best rank tracking options available. The one downside is that it is a touch on the expensive side, so it’s likely better suited for larger agencies and companies while not being a good fit for freelancers or small brands.
AccuRanker Features:

- Competitor Analysis
- Dashboard

- Localization

AccuRanker Features
Here are some of the top things you can do with AccuRanker:
1. Free SERP Checker
You don’t actually have to pay for this feature or even have an AccuRanker account to use this. The SERP checker will check the Google search results for a selected keyword in any country, making it an excellent tool for local SEO campaigns.
It shows keywords, paid ads, related questions, and results for desktop and mobile. You get up to 5 free searches per day (unlimited with an account). If you’re working with a client outside your location, this alone can serious lifesaver in helping you stay on top of their local Google results.
2. Keyword Tracking
Of course, AccuRanker wouldn’t be able to stick around if their best features were free. The core AccuRanker tool is keyword monitoring with extremely accurate results.
It’s easy to use this feature too. Enter the keywords you want to track, select the location, the search engines, and you’re ready to go.
You can refine even further to include mobile vs. desktop, create tags for keywords, and even set goals. For example, you can set a notification once your keyword hits a certain ranking. Best of all, you can import your keyword list directly from Google Search Console and other third-party tools so you don’t have to spend hours manually inputting everything.
3. Analytics & Reporting
AccuRanker includes analytics and reporting tools to help you create detailed reports for your clients. They are easy to customize and streamline so your clients can see exactly what they need to get a picture of how well their SEO strategy is doing.
All reports can be automated to be sent daily, weekly, or monthly to you and your client, saving you time creating new templates. This is one of the features that makes AccuRanker a great fit for agencies.
4. Third-Party Integrations
To enhance AccuRanker’s accuracy, even more, you can integrate Google Analytics, Google Search Console, API, Adobe Analytics, and many other apps into the service.
Doing this will get even more in-depth data for your site, including the number of visitors per keyword as well as information about landing pages. Connecting third-party accounts is easy, and there are plenty of walk-throughs to help you if you face any challenges or want to explore new ways to do more with this data.
5. Competitor Analysis
All savvy SEO strategies know that it’s not just what you that’s important but what your competitors do too. AccuRanker competitor analysis features not only help identify your main competitors, but it also analyzes their onsite content. You can use this to refine your strategy, connect with potential influencers, form partnerships, and more.
To use it, just enter a competitor name, and you’ll see how well you’re performing against it. AccuRanker will also generate a list of the top 10 competitors for all your keywords so you can see exactly where you are and how to beat anybody currently outranking you.
6. Google Grump
Google Grump is a fun and unique AccuRanker feature that alerts you when there are changes in Google’s algorithm that might change the rankings. The grumpier Google becomes the more changes that will occur.
You can then use filters to look for changes across different locations as well as sign up for alerts to notify you of any changes that might affect your campaigns.
The features work by tracking 30,000 randomly chosen keywords, watching them for fluctuations, comparing rankings, and checking positions over a multi-day period making it incredibly accurate to what’s really happening with the Google algorithm.
What’s nice too is that this is another free feature you can use even without an AccuRanker account!
Who Is AccuRanker Best For?
Rank trackers provide essential insight for anybody who relies on Google traffic to drive users to their business—and that’s most of us. Although Google Analytics does tell you about your page performance, it doesn’t give you much information about how well you’re doing compared to your competitors, as well as how much traffic you’re missing out on.
Rank trackers help you diagnose sudden dips and spikes and traffic and get a better sense of long term trends that affect how well your site is ranked.
AccuRanker is definitely targeted more towards agencies and SEO professionals, as you can tell from its features and pricing. Those on a tighter budget, however, can still benefit immensely from using their free tools.
AccuRanker Alternatives
There are many other keyword trackers out there. Some are integrated into broader SEO solutions, and some are more stand-alone like AccuRanker. Two leading alternatives to AccuRanker are SEMrush and SE Ranking.
What Is SEMrush?
SEMrush is one of the leading SEM and SEO tools out there. It’s truly a digital marketing juggernaut and includes not only keyword tracking tools, but everything you need for fantastic on-page SEO.
SEMrush also includes backlink analysis, site health, social integration, and more. It’s a little pricey with plans starting at $99, but it is an overall excellent multi-tool for all things SEO.
What Is SE Ranking?
SE Ranking is a general-purpose web app for SEO that also includes keyword tracking, competitor analysis, site audits, backlink monitoring, and other tools. It has an extensive catalog of onboarding material to help newbies as well as advanced tools for pros.
It’s not as focused on keywords as AccuRanker, so the information it generates isn’t as precise. But it’s much more affordable starting at just $18.60/month.
AccuRanker | SEMrush | SE Ranking |
Keyword Tracker | Keyword Tracking | Keyword Suggestions |
Advanced Reporting | Audience Management | On-page SEO Audit |
Unlimited Domains | API | Backlink Monitoring |
Google Integration | Social | SEO Reports |
Landing Pages | SEO Reports | API |
Competitor Analysis | Competitor Tracking | Competitor Research |
SERP Tracking | SERP | Keyword Rank tracking |
Google Grump | Keyword Ranking | White Label |
From $99/month | From $18.60/month | From $18.60/month |
Is AccuRanker Worth It?
There’s definitely a sweet spot of value and functionality for AccuRanker that you need to be in for this app to be a good fit for you. It is a bit too expensive for solopreneurs working with only a couple of clients. You’re better off sticking to built-in keywords tools included in whatever SEO solution that you’re already using.
But agencies can see a lot of value in the 1,500-5000 keyword plans. This is enough to manage multiple clients and use all the great features that AccuRanker offers.
The huge monthly plans of 10,000+ keywords per month likely aren’t worth it though for large agencies. At those prices, you’re better off using a suite of tools like HubSpot or SEMrush that not only include keyword tracking, but also email, social and other services.

- Easy to use and navigate

- Still need other tools to get complete SEO picture
Final Thoughts On AccuRanker
Although AccuRanker might be a touch on the pricey side, its features are really worth it. If you want an effective, easy to use tool that will tell you clearly where you stand on your most important metric, keywords, then this is it. On the other hand, smaller brands and freelancers should likely look elsewhere or stick to AccuRanker’s great free tools.
But for agencies and larger brands, AccuRanker is one SEO tool you’ll be more than happy you invested in.

Summary
If you’re in an industry where SEO is important, you know finding the right keywords can make you or break you. That’s where AccuRanker claims to come in. AccuRanker is an automated ranking tool that tracks all your rankings, so is it right for you? Read our in-depth review of AccuRanker and find out if it is the right fit for your SEO needs.
Hi Josh. Thanks for a great review. You only give their pricing three stars. Are there any other tool, that you can recommend, if my SEO-tool-budget is too low for a tool like AccuRanker? Thanks in advance.
I prefer ahrefs and SEMrush for the price.
I don’t think that Accuranker is a good choice for bloggers and small business owners. 50 USD is not reasonable if you track less than 1000 keywords. It’s better to test more affordable and accurate rank tracker like Wincher. They work on a dynamic pricing model, so only you decide how much you want to pay each month.
Just try it out!
