Dropshipping is one of the buzzwords like Cryptocurrency and Fintech. You hear stories all the time about someone striking it rich seemingly overnight and wonder if that could be you.

To be fair, the golden age of many of these technologies was definitely a few years ago. Competition has definitely gotten tougher. But with the right strategies, audiences, and tools, you can still make a ton of money by dropshipping (as well as in crypto, but that’s a separate conversation).

This is where Spocket comes in. Spocket simplifies some of these processes, including finding you reputable suppliers and shippers, which is by far the most challenging part of the dropshipping process. It also has a great product catalog, personalization tools, and more.

What is Spocket? Is it the right tool for dropshipping success? Find out everything you need to know in this ultimate Spocket review.

What Is Spocket?

Spocket is a cloud-based dropshipping app that integrates with Shopify, WooCommerce, and other platforms. In a few easy clicks, you can do product research and launch a business selling products from suppliers, mostly in the US, UK, and the EU.

This is a significant distinction from other dropshipping apps that rely on products sourced from AliExpress. Not that there’s anything wrong with AliExpress, but Spocket does open a different angle for you. Nothing is stopping you from using both at the same time as well.

Spocket has a massive marketplace for you to add to your store. There are tens of thousands of options as well as some print on demand products.

You also have the option of sampling products and testing vendors’ speed of delivery and product quality to make sure they are the best fit for your store.

Finally, Spocket is super affordable. Plans start from $19/month, so it’s a truly minimum investment to get started.

Getting Started With Spocket

Spocket does almost everything. The one thing they don’t do is create an online store. That’s up to you. If you’re interested in the world of dropshipping, you can check out the no credit card required trial before making a commitment there. To start using Spocket, you only have to provide your email address, and you’ll then immediately be taken to your dashboard.

Once you’ve made your decision, it’s time to get the store up and running. If you have an exciting Shopify or WooCommerce page, this is easy enough to integrate and definitely one of the best Spocket features. If not, you can set up an online store via WordPress and WooCommerce for as little as $10/month.

After importing the products, you can publish them onto your site by hitting “Push to Store” where customers will have the full experience of shopping with you while Spocket handles everything on the back end. Once you are linked, you can begin importing the projects you’ve researched and start selling them right away.

One of the things that’s really cool is you can also easily become a Spocket vendor. You simply list your products via CSV, provide a flat fee for domestic and international shipping, prove you’re a real business, and you’ll be good to go.

Spocket Features

Everything in Spocket revolves around making dropshipping easier for everyone involved. It connects retailers to suppliers and vice versa. And it gives you all the tools you’ll need, including automatic order fulfillment, integration with major platforms, product research, and more.

Here are some of the main things you’ll do with Spocket:

1. Product Research

One of the fundamental rules of dropshipping is that you look for the products that can be successful, not necessarily the ones you’re interested in. Of course, as the marketer, it’s up to you whether you follow this or not.

With Spocket, you have a massive catalog to check out and use accordingly. Spocket also provides additional information including shipping times, suggested retail price, and whether it’s a “best-seller” or not. All of this is handy info to help you decide whether to import a product to your store or not.

2. Global Pricing Rules

Global Pricing allows you to automatically update prices in bulk, eliminating the need to manually set prices. For example, if you decide to sell items for 2x their price, you can set Global pricing rules to be 2x the cost.

You also can fine-tune markup types to a base percentage or flat rate as well as “assign cents,” so all prices can end in a chosen format like $0.99 or $0.00.

3. Fast Deliveries

We live in a world of next-day and even same-day delivery. Your success and survival require you to keep pace. While you can’t be Amazon, with Spocket, premium items can be delivered within 4-7 days, depending on location vs. 3+ weeks for AliExpress products.

4. Sample Ordering

Every good seller checks the quality and the delivery time for the merchandise in their store. Spocket allows you to easily order samples for your dashboard. You can even write a note to the supplier if you want to start building a relationship between you and them.

5. Branded Invoices

The secret of successful dropshipping is that nobody ever realizes you’re doing it. To your customers, you’re the entire operation. One of the coolest things Spocket offers is the ability to customize your invoices with your branding to give things that extra personal touch.

Who Should Use Spocket?

Spocket is an excellent solution for anybody interested in dropshipping. It’s so easy to use and integrates so nicely with not only WooCommerce and Shopify, but also Facebook Stores, Instagram, and more that you can really maximize its usefulness.

That’s what’s so great about it. You can use it for everything or take advantage of its affordable monthly plan to use it as one of the many dropshipping channels for powering your store.

Whether you are brand new to the dropshipping world or have one of those legendary $10,000+/day stores, you should check out Spocket.

Is Spocket Worth It?

Absolutely. It’s such a great solution, and it requires absolutely minimal investment to get started using. Between the free trial and cheap monthly plan, you can try it out for almost 6 months for around $100. Throw in some WordPress hosting and a few plugins, and you’ve launched a business for $200.

That’s what’s remarkable about both Spocket, and dropshipping in general. The app also performs really well and has an average 4.7 rating over 1600 votes on Shopify.

Spocket Alternatives

There are a lot of different dropshipping tools out there. One advantage we highlight again, though for Spocket, is its US and EU-based supplier base, which is super helpful if you’re selling in these markets.

A couple of alternatives worth checking out are Oberlo and Funnel Genie.

What Is Oberlo?

Oberlo is a pretty solid dropshipping tool that offers an actually free Starter plan where you can host up to 500 products and a lot of great features. Just remember the quality beats quantity. One downside as well is that Oberlo only works with Shopify. But again, nothing is stopping you from using both—especially since Oberlo has such a great free plan!

What Is Funnel Genie?

We reviewed Funnel Genie in the past. Unlike Spocket, it really is the one-stop-shop for dropshipping that even includes website hosting and a site builder. You can build funnels with it and do everything you need to create your rival to Amazon, all from within the platform.

The downside, however, is pricing. The basic plan starts at $97.97. This isn’t a lot considering everything Funnel Genie can do, but it’s definitely a steeper initial investment for newbies. Also, Funnel Genie doesn’t have as many products and relies on the cash-on-delivery market. These aren’t bad things but probably better left for the more advanced marketers to explore.
