Nonetheless, without direct Instagram support, it’s probably not worth it for most agencies to go with OnlyWire even if it has such affordable plans.

OnlyWire really focuses on two areas: posting across your social channels and automation that creates content for your posts. Here’s a little more detail about each of these features: 

1. Posting 

OnlyWire is a simple way to post to multiple social accounts at the same time. After you’ve synced all your accounts, you can then create a post by clicking a “New Post” You have two options. 

You can put together a post from within the app, add images and text. It’s really simple. There are no advanced features or template builder. Or you can copy/paste for your blog, and it will automatically assemble a post for you. This is really helpful if you have an extensive blog catalog to draw from, so you create a bunch of social content at one time. 

Overall, however, it’s pretty underwhelming. As convenient as it is to publish all your accounts in one place, it generalizes all your amazing content into fairly bland posts.  

2. Automation 

OnlyWire’s Automation tools are designed to streamline the content process. Instead of individually creating posts, you can set up your RSS, YouTube, or Twitch Channel to post directly to your social media every time you update on one of those networks. 

This can be a major time saver and help you increase traffic to your site. Setup is just as easy as posting. You sync your feed and the channels you want to automatically post to. That’s it. Everything else is done automatically from there. 

Once again, it would be helpful if there were more tools to add customization to these posts, which is why you might want to look at other SMM options instead of this one. 

3.  WordPress Plugin 

WordPress is the world’s most popular CMS, so it’s handy you can sync your social to it with OnlyWire. Once activated on your site, OnlyWire will automatically post to social any time you update or add a new blog post. It’s the perfect example of a “set it and forget it” solution. 

4. Analytics 

OnlyWire also includes analytics for Facebook and Twitter. It consists of a few useful insights, including age, location, total reach, and a few other items. This is all stuff you can find directly on FB, but it is helpful to have access to this all under one dashboard.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to get more detailed analytics to really see what’s working and what isn’t with your posts.

So, if you come across something in your browsing that you think your audience might like, then go ahead and share it!

Who Is OnlyWire Best For? 

It’s hard to make the case that OnlyWire is really for anybody. Its features are less than overwhelming, to say the least. Anybody who needs to manage the 20+ social integrations that OnlyWire is compatible with likely already has the budget for a better software solution. 

Even if you’re on a tight budget, you’d be much better off using an affordable option with better overall functionality like Buffer, Onlypult, or Socialmonials. 

Automation is great. And all social marketers could use some extra time on their hands. But if it comes at the expense of creating great-looking posts, then is it even worth it? Probably not, or your clients won’t be sticking around for too long. 

Is OnlyWire Worth It? 

Nope. $9.99/month is really affordable. But some things are just too good to be true. OnlyWire creates generic posts across all your accounts. That’s not something most marketers can get away with regardless of whether they’re managing their own brands or someone else’s. 

You can find the same analytics tools directly within whatever platform you’re using. The only thing remotely useful is the Automation feature. But its functionality is extremely limited. If you want to start to benefit from automation while still creating professional posts, then go with MeetEdgar, which now has plans starting as low $19/month.
